INOKA JAYASUNDARAPHD STUDENT
I completed my Master’s degree in Biology at New Mexico State University and my Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at the University of Peradeniya. My academic and research experiences have developed my interest in plant-microbe interactions and the molecular mechanisms underlying ecosystem and cellular responses. I am particularly interested in expanding my research into plant molecular cell biology and understanding how molecular processes influence plant function and adaptation. Outside of research, I enjoy baking, traveling, and watching movies.

JUSTINE JIEAMNSERC USRA STUDENT
I am going into my fourth year at Queen’s in the Concurrent Education program, completing a specialization in Biology and Psychology. I am especially interested in molecular biology, genetics, and science education. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar, cooking, and being outdoors!

Faranak SolEimaniPHD STUDENT
My research interests are rooted in understanding signaling pathways that control plant immune responses and the control of central plant metabolism. Outside of science, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family & traveling as much as I can!

KAMÉLIA MAGUEMOUNPHD STUDENT
I completed my MSc degree at Université de Montréal in biochemistry specialized in genetics and genomics. I have an interest in plant genetics since I was introduced to that topic in an evolutionary biology class. In my free time I like cooking/baking, travelling and romance movies/anime.
